Handmade Soaps
Kasandra Hesek, owner of Black N Tan Soaps, started creating beautiful soaps and other fun body products two years ago in search of a perfect lather for straight razor shaving. She is still searching and along the way she’s created approximately 30 fragrances of delicious soaps with thick, fluffy lather, plus a plethora of other fun body goodies to try!
Your skin is the largest organ in your body and the products that you use for your skin is absorbed into your body and into your blood system. Therefore, you definitely want to be conscious of which products that you use.
Three of the many benefits of using natural soaps include:
- Softer, Smoother skin – natural soaps will not strip away the natural oils found in your skin leaving your skin silky and smooth instead of dry and itchy.
- Natural Moisturization – during the soap making process, the natural oils, such as coconut, palm, sunflower and soya bean, are preserved leaving all of their natural goodness for your skin.
- Less Soap Scum – because natural soaps do not contain animal fats, your shower and bathtub will not have the same soap buildup as other soaps.

Lily of the Valley – Fresh, clean and green. A classic favorite.
*Java Jive – Unscented soap with ground coffee bits. Great for scrubbing off and absorbing pungent kitchen odors, like onion, fish, and garlic.
Lilac – Sweet, fragrant, lilac – just like grandma used to grow!
Lavender – An aromatherapy favorite. Soothing and herbaceous.
*Peppermint Stick – Sharp and stimulating. Not for sensitive skin.
